eCommerce Manager
Company Overview: Verdi Commerce, founded in 2013, is a market leader in data-driven remarketing solutions for brand-certified refurbished, excess, and end-of-life goods for leading brands. Through our proprietary approach, Verdi Commerce brings repurposed products to consumers across multiple eCommerce marketplaces, our own direct-to-consumer website, and regional retailers. Our omni-channel go-to-market strategy empowers brands to control the balance between velocity, recovery, and brand equity while capturing unique ESG & Sustainability insights which delight their stakeholders. Verdi was recently recognized by Inc 5000 as one of the fastest-growing companies for the 6th consecutive year. This position will play a vital role in managing our D2C sales via our Shopify site, and our branding efforts on social media.

Position: eCommerce Manager
Location: On-site (Buffalo NY, Dallas TX, Miami FL), Hybrid OR Fully Remote

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of the Verdi.com Shopify site
  • Manage overall site merchandising and consumer site journey for optimal experience
  • Serve as the lead role in developing and executing overall eCommerce strategy
  • Survey brands’ remarketing strategy to make assessments and recommendations based on your findings
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to identify opportunities for incremental revenue generation via website and social marketing activities
  • Actively identify opportunities for improvement as it relates to content, product placement, pricing, and promotions.
  • Day-to-day eCommerce Manager responsibilities include:
    • Daily management of Verdi.com
    • Creating and managing Verdi’s presence on Social Apps (Tik Tok and Instagram)
    • Managing Verdi’s DTC marketing and branding efforts on social media channels
  • Work closely with the Technology team to improve processes
  • Some travel required for initial on-site training and as needed for team and partner engagement

Preferred or Desirable Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven and demonstrable track record of success in an eCommerce management role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Sound analysis and critical decision-making skills

Position: Vice President of Vendor Management, Power Tools
Location: On-site (Buffalo NY, Dallas TX, Miami FL), Hybrid OR Fully Remote

 

The desired candidate should possess relationships and experience working with today’s top Power Tool Manufacturers.  Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Present the Verdi Commerce partnership opportunity to create incremental growth expanding our footprint into Power tools.
  • Work with Tool and Hardware Vendors to procure Factory Refurbished, EOL and Inline merchandise to sell on today’s leading Marketplaces.
  • Collaborate with Executive Leaders to put together a targeted list of new Vendor opportunities.
  • Work with Channel Managers to ensure product placement and unilateral pricing on each of today’s leading Marketplaces including Ebay, Amazon, Walmart ect.

Key metrics for this position:

  • New Brand meetings to introduce our Sustainable commerce messaging to the Power Tools market focused on transparency and circular sustainability.
  • New Vendor Contracts awarded to Verdi Commerce to help Brands Remarket their Certified Refurbished / EOL and Inline Merchandise.
  • Working with our Channel team and our Brand partners to ensure promotional calendars are not in conflict.
  • Sales created from the products procured from the New Vendors onboarded into our Programs.

Preferred or Desirable Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in the Power Tools category, preferably in a Vendor Management, Procurement or Marketing capacity
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Supply-Chain or other relevant discipline
  • Ability to lead and influence internal and external stakeholders at every level of an organization
  • Experience in consumer and retail channels
  • Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency
